• 6 Weird Things

  So instead of chain letters and email forwards, these days, the latest fad is xanga-'tagging.'   That's when one person has to post something on their xanga because someone else 'tagged' them, and then they have to 'tag' some more people to do the same thing.  In this case, the prompt is to list 6 WEIRD things about yourself for all the world to read.  That seems pretty vulnerable and unlikely to be successful, doesn't it?  But I think it's perpetuating because people aren't writing *really* vulnerable weird things about themselves - more like 6 interesting FACTS.  I don't blame them.    

  Well, I don't usually succumb to this sorta thing except that I feel like I really 'owe' the person who tagged me, so here I go.  Are they weird?:   

  1.  I wear socks all the time except in the shower.

  2.  I do not like sweets.  There are some exceptions like hard candy & popsicles, but in general, please don't give me chocolates, cakes or extremely sweet asian desserts or any dessert at all for that matter! 

  3.  I used to memorize Bible verses because I was too lazy to go get my Bible.  [Unfortunately, nowadays, it's reversed. ]

  4.  I have a strong desire to name everything and have named every _____.  You fill in the blank, and I've probably named it (e.g. car i've owned, house i've lived in, small group i've led, stuffed animal i've owned...)

  5.  The top part of the pinky finger on both my hands are slanted inwards instead of straight.  It's genetic but people are always asking me if I broke my fingers.   

  6.  I would rather read a good book than watch a movie, go to the beach, play video games, go to amusement parks, play sports, go shopping...
