Ten Years in Ten Days
In ten days, I will turn ten. Because, in fact, ten years ago on June 15th, I took Jesus’ hand and walked across the great divide and entered into a living, breathing, intimate relationship with the Lord of Heaven and earth. The pivotal moment happened just at the right time after a long journey of searching, and it was defined by the reading of a gospel tract and the praying of this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
It was a decision of the heart, not just the mind. They weren’t just prescribed words that were uttered but an expression of a total and complete surrender. And an indescribable peace descended upon me that I had never felt before — and has never left me since. It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life — affecting me and dozens of others for all of eternity. !!!!! =)
So, here, I raise my ebenezer… Jesus, how I thank you! May I never cease to give you praise.

yes, Mary Ann, your decision has been “affecting me and dozens of others for all of eternity”. you have a way of loving others in your authenticity and honesty and openness, and it’s contagious. there will be many people in heaven who will have you to thank for helping them get there. ^_^ we love you!!
