That’s the best word I can think of to describe how I feel after the World Christian Conference this year.

The Worship was incredible.  This must be what it’s like to worship God in heaven.  The worship band was able to usher us and keep us constantly in God’s presence.  But what makes worship so good is not just the music, but when the people are really attuned to the Spirit and put themselves in the position of being changed by God.

Constant Prayer.  Kalam, whom i’ve decided to call my partner in crime (what crime?  the crime of stealing satan’s souls from his kingdom), and I decided prior to the conference that everytime we saw each other, we would pray.  And we did.  And it was one of the sweetest parts of the conference for me.  It made me feel like I was always in prayer.

The Messages were powerful.  I can’t even describe this in words.  I think ultimately the message was of surrender. Stop making excuses, and just go follow God.  Start today by being faithful to the little things (make your bed, pray and have your quiet times every day.)

The People were wonderful.  It was so sweet to get to talk to so many people who are willing to take risks for God, give up their jobs, give up their security, give up their lives to follow Jesus.  It takes one little step at a time.

The Spirit was moving.  I got to witness people committing themselves to running after God, giving up their idols and their fears… My prayer is that there would be INCREDIBLE follow-through.  “We don’t need 460 mobilizers coming out of this conference, we need 460 goers.”

Answered Prayer.  I had been praying that God would move in such a way that people would leave the conference with a message from him, totally transformed and totally ready to act.  And it happened.  It happened to me also!  At the beginning of the conference, God was saying nothing, but by the end, He was saying too much!

Something amazing is about to happen.  I see it on the horizon.

  • amazing WCC this year. i thought it was the most chaotic logisticall in the past couple years, but i guess when we just don’t do much logistically, the HS can work more effectively. Less announcements, less administration=God’s working more. hahahaha. =P.

  • Praise God. Wish I was there, but He called me to be at home this past weekend. Hopefully next year.
