Homesick at Last
Not that I haven’t missed home at all while I’ve been away, but for the first time since I got on that plane July 1st, I am truly homesick. I think it has to do with the fact that yesterday we got on the plane to leave China (I can’t believe the missions trip is over??!!) and headed back to Hong Kong. It really feels disorienting to get on a plane, saying goodbye to all these students you’ve made friends with, and yet STILL not get to go back home. But five more days and I’ll be in San Diego again. Home at last!
If you’re gonna be at CBC on Sunday, Aug 8, you’ll see me there!
The question of course is… where to begin in sharing the stories??
