MANASIC: when we fail to replicate God's holiness, we are attacking Him. have you ever thought of it like that before?

MANASIC: yes. there was some sin i realized last night. no wait, more like the realization of my propensity for sin...
MANASIC: and then the memory of some past sins. knowing that i am a wretch who has been saved
MANASIC: we are enemies of God. enemies attack
PwrChords: hmmm
MANASIC: if we are not for him, we're against him.
PwrChords: that's true
MANASIC: when we sin, we say "your way is untrue!!!" we've attacked Him.

PwrChords: that's huge
MANASIC: yeah. yeah!!! makes me wanna cry.
MANASIC: very floored by that thought.
MANASIC: when we don't obey, we shout, "your commands are not right! you don't have my best interest in mind! you don't love me! you are mean!" wow. that's a lot we are saying!!

MANASIC: yeah.
MANASIC: but if we mull over this long enough... and then allow the truth of God's grace to set in... something new & different overcomes us.
