Me: Hey, guess what? I’m leading the Concert of Prayer this year at WCC!
You: Cool! Uh…what is WCC?
Me: “World Christian Conference” It’s a missions conference.
You: Oh… like Urbana?
Me: Sorta. But whereas Urbana is for those who are considering the question of missions, trying to find out more about it and maybe even say yes to the call, WCC is for those who have already said yes. It’s for those who already understand God’s heart for the entire world and want to do something about it – whether to be a sender or a goer. It’s for those who have already said, “Here am I, send me!” and want to actively figure out how now to apply it to their lives.
So… if that sounds like you (for collegers and especially post-collegers), I highly recommend that you consider going! You’ll see me… and lots of very spiritual (hottie) brothers/sisters.

It’s located at the very green & gorgeous Redwood Christian Park in Santa Cruz and will be held over the President’s Day weekend (which also happens to be during V-Day, so maybe you could meet that special someone)…

dude, you are a much better advertiser than the people who tried to persuade me to go last year. This year I’ll actually consider it. Plus I have a friend in Santa Cruz this year. We’ll see.

weird…my mom was just telling me about the conference today. hahaha perhaps God is trying to tell me something?
