Sometimes you make a choice because you know that it is right. But it doesn’t mean that your feelings follow. At those times, you’ve just gotta put it in a box and walk away. And pray that your feelings will eventually match your choice. It usually does. Meanwhile. Just walk away.

I think sometimes though, more important than make the right decision, it’s making your decision right
walk away. hmm so true
i agree – it gives perspective esp if your decision was hard to make b/c of worrying about how it would turn out/affect anyone else involved… and somehow when you really let go… you can learn much more than how to go backwards! (ok so here i’m mainly speaking about ending relationships
)
what example did you have in mind?
tim, what do you mean by – how do you “make your decision right”?
natalie, can you explain what you mean about learning how to go backwards?
oh, i mean letting go often gives perspective on how to move forward with the decision to let go, so that you’re not stuck revisiting what you could’ve done better to have prevented the need to break it off.
