Update on Mary Ann's life.
Currently I'm working part-time for ISOLead as: John Leach's primary assistant, website manager, Inscape assistant manager, marketing assistant, dual facilitator, ACT manager and office management assistant -- which Connie and I concluded is best summarized as an "Administrative Assistant." I come in 3 days a week and work for approximately 7.5 hours each day. It's always fun to be here when the whole team is here (2 bosses and Connie & me), but very boring when I'm all alone. I like it here though. It's fun being a part of a small business that also has the vision of glorifying God.
On my off time, I've been searching for a home for us to rent (us meaning Cindy, Pam Seto and I) in Mira Mesa. I go to Crossroads once a week and have accountability once a week with Cindy, Pam & Tomoko. I visit my parents once a week, talk to my sister at least once a month, call up my old friends occasionally. And - yes, I admit it - I pray for my future husband almost everyday. And when I'm not doing all of that, I read. Lotsa books.
I am also currently meeting up with Mindy for discipleship every Tues. We are studying the Navigators' Lessons on Assurance Bible study, and hopefully, I could help her follow up on her sister Jenny who just accepted Christ about two weeks ago as well.
Upcoming events:
Janine asked me to speak at the high school girls' retreat. I'm excited at the privilege to get to share God's message to my sisters. I'm either giving one or two messages: one about biblical womanhood and perhaps another about loving one another (Romans 13:8). Still praying about that.
Gary Wu and I are also putting our heads together to share what we learned at Perspectives earlier this year. We are sharing it at the WCSG meeting in August. Let me know if you would like to come.
The first week of September, I'm also going to be sharing at Crossroads fellowship about how God gave me a burden for missions. I'm excited but also very nervous about this prospect because I know it will be a very significant opportunity in sharing God's heart for the nations. I'm praying that these young adult of CBC will catch the vision and go!
Perhaps we could all "go" together.
And this is my life.
