• We had a sleepover at Huerta House last nite.  There we were - past midnite up chatting in the dark of the spacious living... Sam and me on the futon and Tomoko on the floor... haha. It was lovely!  But before long, I was exhausted, so I made my exit with the words, "I'm checking out guys!"  To which Tomoko exclaimed, "What??"  And Sam cracked up in laughter.  Dang, intonation is everything.
