Luke 12:35-48. The only danger in seeking God’s will is that He will tell you what it is. And once He reveals His will and gives you an assignment, you should be wise to obey Him. It is a greater sin to purposely disobey than if you disobey accidentally or out of ignorance.

i’ve been thinking about that too lately…i’ve been reading jeremiah and oh goodness…i don’t have my Bible with me right now, but somewhere in the late 30′s early 40′s, this leader of the israeliates asks jeremiah what God says they should do so that they should do it…and jeremiah tells them to stay in egypt and they promptly get up and go to egypt…and i think, what stupid people! but many times i do the exact same thing, only in a less dramatic way because i don’t get butchered by chaldeans when i blatantly disobey…yay for God’s grace! but definitely not something to be taken advantage of.
btw, i would like to read your marriage takes more than love book!
you mean they promptly got up and LEFT Eygpt, right? i remember that passage very well. it is linked to God’s desire for me to go on missions. i can tell you the story later.
